Kind of wild to think back a few years ago ISU was a program on the rise, Wisconsin and Nebraska just landed 2 of the biggest head coaching hires in the country, and the Huskers had landed a 5* QB over OSU and Georgia. Was worried where Iowa was compared to those rivals. Not anymore.

With what Cignetti has done in 2 years, have to believe that if Matt Campbell can’t do the same in the same amount of time, he is out. New coach hirings are going to be held to that standard now. Id say Kirk should be by year 30 otherwise what are we still doing? No more “grandfathering” it in.

Rutgers WBB is atrocious
Poor crowd, even for a Saturday. Going to have to not have thumpings like they had other night to get a lot of the fans to return. Those are what drove a lot of us causal fans away, no hope. Lose this game, this season may be hard to recover from already with a curb stomping coming from ISU too.

Iowa MBB doesn’t stand a chance against Purdue or Iowa State. These are the 2 best teams in the country. Unfortunately Hawkeyes play both on the road too. Yikes. 😳 😬

Anyone here knowledgeable about some home maintenance hacks for outdoor spigots? I got one of those Freeze Miser to put on them (cover too) and I went outside today and this had accumulated! 😳😳 I know it “drips” water when water temp is below 37 but this seems concerning. Anyone explain to me??

Also Kiffin to LSU feels a lot like Kelly to LSU was. That’s going to never work out like they plan. He’s going to be even more disliked now and LSU will get every team’s best too. Only slight advantage Kiffin has over Kelly is he’s been in the SEC so understands that culture better than Kelly did.

Seeing the SEC coaching chips fall, I think Matt Campbell to Penn State could be a real possibility. Never hear about his inner workings because he has no agent and the PSU job search has been very tight lipped. Could be something. 🤷🏻♂️

SEC is so deep that’s it’s one of these two in the SEC Championship game every year. I’ll be interested when it’s Vandy v Ole Miss someday instead.
So, it'll be Georgia-Alabama in the SEC championship game next weekend.
