I just rewatched glass onion, still an absolute banger. I love how passive benoit blanc is in the actual plot of the movie, particularly at the end. It really drives the point home.

Apparently almost five hours of talks between Witkoff and Putin lol, i can't imagine much substantive could've been agreed on or changed but i wonder how everyone will try to spin it now.

I love how the wikipedia article on the zootopia box office still divides it up by 160 mil for US and canada and 400 mil for the rest of the world only to further down mention that the chinese market alone was responsible for 270 mil of that. That's almost half the global total. 😭

I think the whole situation with Kremlin repeatedly arguing that one of the (ofc there are *many* more) reasons they're unwilling to make peace on negotiated terms is because they don't believe the current ukrainian government is legitimate and thus the succeeding government wouldn't consider itself

I think the games i'm by far most hyped for rn are the next episodes of of the devil and scarlet hollow, i'm just so hyped. I still haven't decided if i'm going to play of the devil episode two when it comes out or if i'm going to save it for chistmas.

Amadeus is such a sad, relatable, but luckily also confusing movie to me. Like, i think i can totally understand Salieri's misery because being a mediocrity.

I really want to see a study on how people listen to music tbh. I personally usually just can't do playlists since i end up obsessing over one particular song and then listen to it obsessively for like a few days on a non stop loop all day until i move on to the next one.

Lol, i love how in the new SIPRI report global arms firms revenue grew quite a lot in 2024 by 5.9% but china's apparently declined by enough to make all of asia-oceania the only region where revenues actually decined.

Black friday revenue being up so much in the US initially surprised me tbh but now that we know apparently all of that is from price increases it does totally make sense, particularly with the biggest categories being apperal, furniture and electronics ofc.

Oki, i'm gonna start trying to post here into the void a bit because i do think i need the exposure therapy to try and reduce my social anxiety at least online some. If i can't get comfortable saying stuff into the social media void i don't see how i ever could irl after all.

I am not a big fan of statements like LGBTQ struggle is class struggle because it collapses all politics into one. It makes sense when thinking about it in terms of a party. This acts if there is a party platform this all is part of even though no actual party or platform exists.
I don't feel great how many conversations about the left talk about it as there is a party. I know this sounds silly but when people say "if the left does something it is alienating some group" it is putting that group as outside the left and there is some organization that is acting against them
