I understand that individual cases work well as railing cry but it will always feel weird that one people killed by bullets gets so much more attention then all the death killed by some stoke of a pen denying food and shelter.

I am always wary of people who are to much into there ancestry. Like it just feels weird to be proud of people that are different from you expect for sharing some DNA. Like, just worry about people who are too much into the Norse stuff.

I hate when older rural clothing gets call folk clothing. i hate when some music is called folk music. I hate all the nostalgia ruralness. The idea of folk seems to be just to talk about working class people but striping any good politics to let nationalist politics take its place.

It is frustrating to me that even among queer people, penetration is still an act with so many connotations. Like topping/bottoming taken as equivalent to dominant/submissive or being seen as a personality trait...

I find USians a very cringe thing to say. It doesn't make sense to stop calling people German just because there are people who speak German outside of Germany, same for Italy, France, etc. the name comes from it trying to claim a category from language to land as its own.

Only in the US can you have large leftwing protests and have American flags waving like it is some religious symbols that both sides must have.

I feel like far too many even queer people don't fully realize that sex as in the act is also a social construct. What is sexuality and sex are so messy. But we often just let it be naturalized in a very rigid way.
