Audiences don't have the knowledge to distinguish who is correct, nor are most doing anything but cheering for their "side", and this sport is not about good science, it's entirely about rhetoric.

And then we get political streamers optimizing for rhetoric and dunking over broad movements.

1) Homemade hash pucks- baking potatoes long enough, overnight in the fridge for starch to crystallize juuust right. Peel skin and shred with potato starch / flour to bind, heat oiled small cast iron pans high and cook not too low for it to get oily and low enough that it doesn't burn.
