Unfortunately it's not likely, at least not as a consistent thing. The amount of time, effort, and budget that went into them wasn't sustainable given average viewcount.

Once at a small Smash tourney years ago, I was matched up against a Villager player I'd never seen before. I picked Ganondorf. When he lost, he literally jumped up and GIGA METEOR SPIKED his controller into the floor like a goddamn football in the end zone. To be fair I was kinda sandbagging.
There's something deeply perverse about the white hot rage Mario games (Smash Bros, Mario Kart, etc.) inspire in people when compared to the clinically distilled whimsy they dress themselves in.

But I’ve seen plenty of instances behind the scenes where actors do come together as a community to try to help avoid this.

Also this so falls in line when I was getting some help with an audition of theirs (not saying I refuse, at times work is work), and the person helping me TOTALLY pointed out the character was already cast and established, yet there I am reading for it. Thankfully didn't get it, would've refused it

I can't speak for any of the actors who were replaced outside of the strike - though I have spoken to a couple of them - but IMHO, Hoyo seems willing to recast people as soon as they aren't willing to accept being treated as though they are expendable.
And those actors can't speak out about that.

Seeing that he didn't even know until just recently makes me really suspicious of what happened with Argenti and Huo Huo in Star Rail and a few ZZZ recasts early on. These were before the strike, but it was very strange how little transparency there was.
