RESULT: Democrats have defended the Minnesota senate.
Their one-seat margin was at play in a special election tonight, though to be clear this was a clearly Dem-leaning seat.
Of course, this is on top of the mountain of seats Dems have flipped in the Virginia House to expand their majority there.
