I did not have living in the world of “Man in the High Castle” on my bingo card.
This administration is going to result in the kind of map you’d find in the front of a dystopian sci-fi paperback. “Indigenous Nation Tariff-Free Trading Corridor” sounds like something Philip K. Dick would have with come up with in 1972.

I wish this wasn’t the daily reality for US residents.
I went to graduate school for linguistics. I did not learn how to teach students who are constantly traumatized by terroristic threats as well as state-sponsored violence.
Just today...5 HBCUs, the Naval Academy, and UMass Boston...how are our students supposed to be able to learn anything?

After listening to the @ifbookspod.bsky.social and @fivefourpod.bsky.social episodes about the gender affirming care ruling, and I wonder if anyone else thinks that Clarence Thomas should forfeit any medical benefits he gets as part of his job since he clearly doesn’t believe in their expertise.
