I always thought it was wild how some quantities in astronomy and cosmology have huge error bars on them. What's the biggest or coolest source of error in astronomy/cosmology in your opinion. I went to Oxford for the first time this year; what a beautiful town.

The unspoken premises of these "media lost trust" laments:
-conservatives' opinion of mainstream media matters most
-some of the biggest media outlets don't count as the media
-anyone left of center losing trust doesn't count as loss of trust

So the obvious "solution" is reach out more to the right
