It feels like I am playing a game, a game with the entire world. A game where only I know the rules and the objective. Everyone wants to play, they all want to 'win'. But this isn't a game they can win. It's a survival game, one where everyone can lose. But nobody realizes that.

Another problem with being a jack of all trades in such a society is its so easy to feel like all the min makers are so much better than you, but ultimately specialization is the enemy of variety... at least to me it is.

You're not wrong! It could be influenced by the moveset being more hands-off than other elemental powersets - doesn't really work for energy blasts or powered-up punches, and most plants on their own are unresponsive and harmless, so most people think "make pretty flowers" not "nature's fury" -R
@overlysarcastic.bsky.social am i imagining things or are there an awful lot of "hidden badass" characters with plant control powers? Layla from Sky High, Willow from Owl House, Perfuma from She-Ra... even Poison Ivy got a Badass Upgrade when she was given plant control powers...
