Bluesky will attract bad actors, it's not immune. The good news is you don't have to block them one by one, Bluesky has moderation lists managed by others (or even you) to help you mass block accounts as they turn up. All you need to do is visit the list, hit subscribe, then choose block or mute.

It’s ok to log off and find some peace instead of arguing with very-online people about future elections. There’s so much work ahead of us. You don’t have to fight fires on a platform designed to make you mad. Take a nap. Go outside. Be with friends. Let hate sit alone.
