The Constitution delegates the power to conduct elections to the states. This would require an amendment. It would expose voter data to the risk of one hack instead of 50.

As mich as I am not a fan of people being able to carry guns openly, it is a second amendment right and the Right has long defended it. Now they want to say he shouldnt have a gun... like the Charlottesville crew or the J6rs...? Even the conservative Wallstreet Journal gets it.
