finished Some Desperate Glory by @emilytesh.net last night

occasionally uncomfortable, but consistently engaging. Kyr's journey out of extremist indoctrination is fantastic and hard to put down.

I gotta hand it to whatever advertising firm Informa hired to make these, there really is something almost poetic about GDC's advertising being "an AI-looking depiction of an industry staple being destroyed with no clear elaboration of what comes after." Masterclass in unintentionally nailing it.

i'm still not sure i've emotionally recovered from this

A series of screenshots I sent to a friend after the Canucks v Stars game last year.

The first shows the score as Vancouver 2 Dallas 5 with 59 seconds remaining.

The second shows the Canucks winning the game 6-5 in overtime, after scoring 3 goals in less than a minute to tie the game.
