Hours pass. The flame turns to embers and until shadows die and only men remain. They part ways with the rising sun, fading into the mist.

Chameleon effect coming on strong these days. I’ve been noticing that I’m incorporating a fair few speech mannerisms from multiple new friends passively.
It’s not a bad thing, but it sure is interesting.

I’m chasing a feeling that I can’t have. Something found in a dream had in a place I’ve never been. We sway and turn under the falling leaves as the clocks stand still and the sunset coats our backs. It’s peaceful and warm, but tinged with sadness… a place far away.

"The Road Not Taken"... a poplar grove (cultivated) near Andrew, AB. i captured this in the fall when most of the leaves had fallen but there were still leaves on the trees in the background and the soft late afternoon light was filtering through them

Life is funny sometimes. Found an old weight loss photo from last year. Looking at myself pre-transition vs post transition, I’m just so much happier, it’s insane.
I have to remind myself of that sometimes when shit is annoying or sad. Things have been wise and I’m glad to be where I am now.

I'm glad to have the opportunity to learn from others, even if it doesn't work out. The important thing is that I keep trying and eventually I'll get it right.
