For many years we were taught that the USA is a strong democracy - if one branch of government starts abusing its power, the other branches will stop it. Turns out it was a hoax. The democratic structure of the USA has turned out to be weak and collapsible like a house of cards.

My appeal to Western leaders from Lviv. Stop speculating about Ukraine’s possible defeat. It has nothing to do with the facts. Ukraine, despite some naysayers, defends itself effectively against the Russian aggression, even though no-one gave it a chance in the first days of the war.
