And considering the broader debt problem in this country, I'm shocked to not see any proposed legislation that would offer borrowers the same sale price for loans anytime they change hands. I've lost track of how many times I've been bought and sold.

There are much more important/terrible things going on in the world, but I've already been vocal about this issue. Turning a steep profit on students is sick. Educating your people IS the investment.

EXCLUSIVE: The Trump administration is considering selling federal student loan debt.

Talks have focused on selling high-performing portions of the government’s portfolio of student debt, which is owed by about 45 million Americans.

AI exacerbates the biggest problems plaguing society: climate, energy needs, jobs, trust in journalism/institutions while preying on our laziness and lack of critical thinking and undermining small comforts like art and therapy. Now we're threatened with mutually assured economic destruction.

"The hundreds of billions of dollars companies are investing in AI now account for an astonishing 40 per cent share of US GDP growth this year... In a way, then, America has become one big bet on AI."

Howdy! I'm looking for an unpublished (or barely published) queer artist to collaborate with me on an upcoming, non-profit queer horror anthology short. Full color. Under 10 pages. There is a page rate, but it is admittedly small.

If interested, PLEASE REPLY HERE. If you DM me I will block you. ❤️💀

As a child I only bought the villains until, in a panic/hyper fixation, I hunted the discount aisle with Bluegrass as my only salvation. Begged a friend to give me his Copper Kidd for my birthday to no avail. Still regret not buying Sky-Runner the one time I saw him.

Freelance illustration gigs drying up. Ad agencies using Midjourney instead of hiring human artists. Costume design turned over to AI wholesale. Good work vanishing.

These are the stories of working visual artists, who describe losing jobs, wages, and hope as their clients and bosses embrace AI.

After getting my Flu/Covid shots yesterday, I woke up in a fevered state in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep. I finished the final two episodes of the first season, so I'm taking credit for this (even though I want nothing but the worst for almost every character on the show).

Happy birthday to the DiC Sailor Moon. Huge thanks to @brettwhite.bsky.social for letting me get my feelings out about a show--and its world--that profoundly shaped me as a creator and person.

Okay, it's been a week (and this isn't particularly spoiler-y). I was really excited to write "The Screaming Earth" because it felt like an emotional bookend to my previous episode of NINJAGO DRAGONS RISING, "Crashing Together."
