For a long time I've tried to hold onto my optimism that humanity can improve itself and do better.
Then social media came along and seeing what I see now, I don't know anymore. It feels like the worst impulses of human beings are taking over.

Somehow I don't think having a malignant narcissist who descending and dwindling into some illness caused form of elderly dementia is a good thing to have as a leader of the country.

Tried making a lentil soup today for the first time ever. It turned out really good and it's definitely going in the rotation of easy crockpot meals. A crockpot is a vital kitchen utensil when you're a low spoon person. You can cook up a few days worth of meals without a whole lot of fuss & effort.

For me it's Circus Peanuts. Styrofoam peanuts sprayed a sickly shade of orange isn't candy

About the only thing I can recommend about fall and winter is how it becomes time to make soups and soup is a wonderful food.

One thing I do every evening is look out to the south of me and watch the orange glow in the sky of Portland Oregon being burnt to the ground. Although maybe that's Seattle and I'm too far away to see the fires of war-ravaged Portland.

They want to use American cities as training grounds for troops from the Department of War. They're essentially declaring American cities as war zones and that they will use the military upon them.
