Had my neurodivergent kids (2 x autism, 1 x ADHD) and 2 of my eldest’s friends (autism, ADHD) for Christmas Day and not one meltdown. Apart from maybe my elderly cat who howled and yowled dismally because we used his chair for people to sit on

Prepped every fucking thing, tomorrow is just shunting trays into the oven, so now beer is being drunk (to make room in the fridge). God bless the not very eco friendly disposable foil tray

Needed something to watch as I had a total meltdown over the stress of Christmas (as my kids - who are pretty much all adults - snooze away peacefully, knowing everything will be wonderful). Only just made my Christmas pudding but it’ll be fucking delicious
