I've long advocated for decent folk to take up these jobs, apply for all these position, etc. At best, someone who isn't a fashy chud is in the position; at worst, it's a delay/gum up for getting fashy chuds in the position.

I get it - people are scared, anxious, angry, etc. - but we really gotta keep it straight between what MAGA wants and what MAGA can do.

They *want* to occupy and terrorize Portland, but they *can* protect one building with a handful of troops.

These guys are so myopically self absorbed that they think the Saudis shelled out the big bucks because they are sooo funny, and not as a tool to normalize their slave owning theocracy in the eyes of Americans. It's the funniest thing about the comedy festival.
