The teens couldn’t fix an ebike themselves and needed help from the shop. Transport in my Fiat 500 worked fine enough. Again, another day not needing a SUV (but wishing for a cargo bike trailer - or better yet, a friend close by with such a trailer)

This random road in a random village in Germany has 13000 cars per day, and I don't know now many trucks. Often, cars are parked on the road, too, so you will have to wait for a gap in oncoming traffic to pass. Traffic still flows just fine.

Finding solutions to US school drop off:
Our school has 2 VIP parking spots they auction off at their fundraiser. So, I got one 😁 - and made it eBike/Cargo Bike drop off for everyone. At least for 1 year.
One less car parking spot, and usually 5+ parent bikes in a central, accessible place 🌞
