open.substack.com/pub/heatherc... “Not only does this agreement sell out Ukraine and Europe for the benefit of Russia—which attacked Ukraine—it explicitly separates the U.S. from NATO, a long-time goal of Russia’s president Vladimir Putin.” This is a complete capitulation to Russia - it’s treachery

Tierra Walker’s life mattered — as did those of Amber, Candi, Josseli and Nevaeh. Extremist #abortion bans are killing women and leaving children without their mothers. There’s nothing “pro-life” about this. New Mexico will keep protecting women and providing them with real care.

More powerful evidence of the disaster of #Brexit from @jonathanfreedland.bsky.social. If we’re to avoid yet more austerity, we need to start by rejoining the customs union & single market. Brexit was a reckless waste of money we simply can’t afford @europeanmovement.co.uk
Rachel Reeves is studiously ignoring the cause of Britain’s woes: the Brexit-shaped hole in its roof | Jonathan Freedland
The autumn budget will mop up some damage, but the true source of the economic crisis is clear. The government should now fix it – tragically, it won’t, says Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland

Think this is going to push a lot, if not most, of voters to the Greens. The right wing appeasement rather than practical improvements show Labour are not a party of serious government. Party before country.

Feel confident in backing the Greens, more moral and genuine with practical solutions.
A Government of cowards.

Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.

They can't get away with this.

Authors/Publishers:

If we have gone the extra mile to highlight your book, put your title forward for an opportunity to gain more readers, have said nice things...

Could you perhaps sort out a "share"? A "like" these days isn't enough to do the heavy lifting for books.

Much appreciated

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 81st day out of the last 93.

12 days of work in over 3 months.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.
