Loving all of the maps being produced to see what’s happening!

Labour need to wake up to the fact that a lot of their supporters rightly feel betrayed by some of their actions in the first year. Partly because much of it is not very Labour and partly because they made promises in the Manifesto and then did the opposite immediately. Thats why support evaporated.

I’m not interested in Labour fanboying either they are far from perfect. They’ve lied multiple times about nature protections before chucking wildlife under the bus. There’s absolutely no way I could vote for them at the moment because of it.

They are doing lots right. I just hope they get on track in their second year with smarter thinking from the top and less doing what bad lobbyists convinced them in their first year, e.g. that nature protections limit construction with is a lie, the opposite is true.

It’s a challenge but developers from Europe built much of the platforms in the US. The US just paid them a lot to work for them. A switch from users isn’t necessarily that slow. Good platforms grow rapidly. Eg recently Substack, another US platform.

haha I know, we're the same get all excited but think nothing will happen. All the while knowing there's a chance our roof might actually blow off.
January 9, 2026 at 8:36 AM
I'm so sorry, I'll think of you at this difficult time

It's very odd, the named storms often (not always) don't seem too bad and then suddenly on a random day we have a massive storm battering us 😀

I’m grateful we’re not snowed in again for the time being but I wish there was less hysteria around weather events

Definitely! Haha our council have started gritting the town pavements for exactly this reason

Cold weather I mean - I'm all for warning people to stay safe, but this exaggeration is very frustrating. People just want everything to be an extreme disaster.
