I should stress that while I am excited about the return of light I’m actually also even more excited about hibernating in the cold of winter reading books by the fire

This is not valid research, it is hand selected opinion pieces to suit an editorial narrative www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... "we want stamp duty scrapped" says 1 person with no expertise in politics or economics. Front page headline news promoted to 20 million BBC News readers.
'We earn £60,000 and want stamp duty scrapped'

At this time of year the whole valley prepares for hibernation, and there are moments when it freezes in time.

All of the data on Brexit should really be taken as an emergency for discussing a new referendum to rejoin. Brexit was always a bad idea, to downsize UK power in a modern world of continental superpowers - as is being proven by every data point.
Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

It’s interesting that a more balanced billionaire didn’t just buy The Telegraph - I’m not saying they should have done, it’s just interesting it didn’t happen. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

It’s mad how much this one tree is talked about and yet the same focus isn’t given to actually important habitats being torn up. Why hasn’t Labour banned peat compost for instance? I’m told it’s symbollic of how much people care about nature… www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

One lesson we must take from Covid is that we need serious politicians in Government making serious plans for the biggest threats to society. These include inequality, health, pandemics, food, climate change, building renewables and protecting nature.
