The idea that the world cannot descend into tyranny and that we in the 21st century are somehow innured against it because all that stuff is in the past is very dangerous indeed. There is nothing exceptional about any era or time.

The fact that much of his behaviour might actually be explained better by a neurodevelopmental difference.
