I haven't been doing this long, but I have discovered that one of the hazards of being a writer is forgetting your steeping tea because you had an idea on how to fix a troubling paragraph and needed to get it down, then heating the lukewarm tea in the microwave.

Been a hot minute since I've written a blog post, but imma start one purely to talk about books I've beta-read and are published. Cause some of them are just so cool, and it'd be so fun to talk about them, and it's just so well deserved for the authors 🥰

"The story takes shape as you write" is really hitting hard here. I have to keep going back to stuff and rewriting it because I've figured out a much more coherent way to advance the plot

somehow still writing a slightly different ending.
it still feel like the right move, but my brain is also mush and overwhelmed. ugh.

There is something so genuinely fun and exciting about beta-reading that most people will never understand. So many books I've read and loved now, and nobody knows about them yet. Being one of the first sets of eyes is so cool, I love it.

And suddenly, I've figured out the roadmap to finishing my book series. Now I just need all my characters to stay in line! I've got enough scenes to delete or move as is 🤣

Why did I think writing a sci-fi novel was a good idea. 😣 I have to keep coming up with much cooler technology than we have now and I’m not even that good with our current stuff.

i am a very biased author that cant help but have favorite characters. you can spot my favorite character because they're always the one who goes through the most terrible horrors, but then gets to cash in those horrors to kiss at least one (1) girl and/or boy
