3. Despite the fact I'm terrible at communicating with people these days, I still have some wonderful people in my life who're very patient with me disappearing for months at a time. I can't ever take that for granted.

2. I managed to write 200k words of narration and dialogue for the game I've been working on for the past six months. I feel very good about where things are heading, and it's almost always a pleasure to work on it whenever I have the time and energy to do so.

Now the good:

1. My workplace shed its oppressive corporate employer to become a non-profit. Morale has increased significantly. We've also managed to unionize, and I managed to get it together enough to play some role in that. Feels decently good.

There’s a legendary something-or-other. I can’t quite remember myself, but I think it’s an XMOD2 Cut-o-matic saw thingy. Can be fun.

There’s something up there. I can’t say for sure whether it’ll be worth the time and effort for you, but I always make the trip.
