You would need a way to enter with a loyalty counter so you don't die immediately and Luxior to become a creature for Champions of Archery. Then, I think any Precognition effect gets you there. Experimental Frenzy keeps us in Boros, though.

Now, did hitting the panic button and bringing back Final Fantasy have any impact? Yes, and it's fascinating.
Because so few people knew, no one was prepared and initially, there were very few FIN drafters. Spiderman is SO unpopular, though, FIN is GAINING players day over day.

I wanted the two most recent releases here as well as a set that was pretty widely panned in DFT. Here, the pink lines indicate the Fridays after launch. On the first, people phone in their work/FNM at home and play a little more than usual. The next weekend, the #s usually TANK.

Revisited the data on Spiderman's disastrous Arena launch since tomorrow will mark two weeks since release.
Spoiler alert: it has NOT gotten better.
Whether it's pick 2/design/the Omenpaths of it all, this was massively rejected. Let's use the data to analyze player decay in limited on Arena:

Again, I'm not opposed to more sets. I simply want Hasbro to reinvest in development and expansion of the teams that make them. This should not be a big ask considering Magic is floating a lot of their operations.

But to say that I'm arguing someone can only "play official formats at an LGS" is just a wilful misrepresentation of my words on this. I've mentioned that they could just jam some kitchen table games several times on Reddit. You chose to leave that out and I don't think that's particularly fair.

Had to peace out in the finals of a 64 but I think I was cooked against a very good Nadu deck regardless. No one wanted to draft artifacts today. Moved off a P1P1 Reanimate in draft one, draft two was a blur because I was writing. Good to be back in these after a break.

2-0 into 2-2 to keep the streak alive! I thought the deck was good for a pod, not great. Four of my five game losses came on the draw, so I probably needed to shore up my plan for losing the coin flip. Lost my win-and-in to a "Your go" spammer, which was particularly annoying.
