This actually sucks. We got to live through something getting a name that made sense for a few years and when it sticks forever people will ask - why is it called that?? Like a “mechanical royalties” of our own. And they want to kill it for “shows”

Finally got around to uploading some 20 year old tapes and caught a shout out for “handling all the merchandise” at the start of Purple Rain and suddenly I’m 22 again. That’s how it works right? Looking forward to seeing Martin in town in a couple months…

I’m so tired of the constant state of shock everyone is in over whatever the latest Trump/Musk horror is thrust upon us each day. This is all exactly what they said they’d do. This is what a majority of the country voted for. The lack of planning and leadership to defend against it is real issue now

Running into The General from the insurance ads at the bar. We exchanged a friendly nod—yes, I recognized him, but I wasn't going to make a deal out of it—and he said "don't worry, I'm off duty." Then he said something about "party supplies" and I ignored it and just said "have a great night sir."
