*Last year's 'Extinction' from Doug Preston is a great companion to Jurrassic Park - and a premise I'd always hoped the movies would follow; a 'Pleistocene Park', involving genetic engineering where extinct Ice Age megafauna are reintroduced.

The point's lost unless you've read the original novel, which made that point - in one of the movies, it's pointed out the dinos deviated significantly in size & characteristics as the public/visitors wouldn't have been impressed otherwise - they wanted to be 'scared' so they gave them 'monsters'.

I had questions, too. Never really watched until lockdown, then it became a guilty pleasure. My #1 question was, where did Hank & Peg go?! What - the black eye or the physical fight? Both have been confirmed; as has Miller's wife going to work for Musk. The White House is trying to spin it as 'passionate' discussion and a healthy disagreement, but I don't buy it. There's much more to this.

The White House previously confirmed there was a 'screaming match' between Musk & Scott Besent; now they've admitted it was an actual physical altercation. Imo, if there's screaming & punching going on, there's more to it. Musk is now saying he got the shiner from horsing around w/his 4 yr old.
