These two defensive plays in one minute from Jokic are just killer. Gets absolutely wrecked running down the floor by Sabonis and forces Murray to be cognizant of it, gives up open 3. Then just totally flat-footed in this ball-screen in the middle of the lane.

Sometimes basketball is simple. Bobby Portis has been the best players on the Bucks for the past 6 quarters and the Bucks are hard to beat!

I don’t understand Doc’s rotations (like every night)! Why not play Ajax when they need a stop late in quarters? Why not play Ajax as backup 4? Why play guys until exhaustion instead of short bursts?
Just don’t understand the approach from Giannis tonight. The Bucks win games when they move the ball and keep everybody involved offensively. They lose games when Giannis settles over, and over, and over for bad shots. He’s set a bad tone offensively.

Credit where it’s due Portis has been the rebounder they need and he’s passable as an iso defender on switches. He’s not giving you help defense but the 5 out option is helpful.

The issue is Bobby, Brook, and Ajax are in the paint instead of spacing and passing
Bucks have to move the ball. Evergreen post but definitely applies more than ever against a team with this many great defenders. Settling way too much for bad shots right now.

Bobby Portis 2-12 in the first half! Amazingly, I’ve loved his effort in getting 13 rebounds but the bball iq in taking so many shots is very questionable…
The #Bucks take a 57-53 lead over the Celtics into halftime. They have lead all three matchups this season at the half, but the Celtics have outscored them by 25 in the previous two third quarters

The Bucks NEED Bobby Portis’ offense in games like this and he brought it the last few possessions after a rough start to the quarter. Bobby sustaining his scoring for a few more minutes could well be the difference tonight.

Honestly think outside of tightening up some of the late rotations and turnovers the Bucks should continue playing the same exact way they’ve been playing. Most of the shots they’re getting offensively are good looks. They’ll fall.
