yeah even with the lower price i was still buying last season’s models and even they were still the most expensive footwear i owned. insane. i cannot imagine being in a position to buy $800 skates every year

legitimately the reason i got away with being a goalie in beer league is a) secondhand pads but b) i fit into junior skates which aren’t taxed here and are half the price on top of that so i could afford to get real equipment elsewhere
