yes, there's quite a few points of regression in the EPBC but for me the signs confirming their Big Business fealty were:
👎 'national interest' exemptions & ministerial discretion power grabs
👎 #PayToDestroy biodiversity offsets
👎 bilateral agreements devolving Fed powers to states/territories
Feel & sound like a broken record—4th story about EPBC law reforms that says NOTHING about how changes will STRENGTHEN environmental protection & conservation

Instead
Climate Trigger-OUT
Fully independent EPA decision maker-OUT
Bilateral Agreements delegating Federal powers to States-IN

The stock market's gains are being overwhelmingly driven by seven Big Tech companies who have invested heavily in AI, which has made tech oligarchs even wealthier.

But when that AI bubble bursts, the rest of us will be stuck holding the bag.

Be warned.

The Government is trying to push through changes that will weaken our environment laws.

This is the same Government that changed environment laws to protect the toxic salmon industry, and continues to approve fossil fuels for decades to come.

"We heard stories from the mob at Wilcannia the other day … asking questions around rashes for people who've been swimming during the summer,"

First Nations people say the Darling Baaka River is sick. A report confirms it www.abc.net.au/news/2025-11...
The river is life for these remote communities, but no-one will swim in it
For months, people in remote Indigenous communities have been reporting skin rashes after going in the water, and a report confirms something is wrong with the river.

The Albanese Government is about to rush through a bill which, Australia Institute research shows, would fast-track 94 new fossil fuel projects.

This will undermine environmental protections and lock in emissions for decades.

This is a point that needs repeating. It’s fiscally conservative to house the homeless, it’s also the right thing to do.
Anderson Cooper: So it's more expensive to have a chronically homeless person living on the streets than it is to actually subsidize an apartment for them?

Answer: Yes, we’re paying more as taxpayers to walk past that person on the street and do nothing… #HousingFirst
100,000 Homes: Housing the homeless saves money?
Giving apartments to the chronically homeless can save taxpayer dollars, advocates say

It's funny - when the corporate world is monetising things that should be free, offloading all the costs onto the public to increase their profits + increase inflation, paying as little as possible , where do they think people are gonna get the money they want to extract from them?
'the economy' is people burning through slabs of glass and silicon at an absurd rate even though they don't need or want to
