How much water can a garden hose spew out in 24 hours? Not quite a pool full, as it turns out.

Another Achromat shot.

Took the Achromat lens out shooting today. It’s one of those “Art lenses”—an optical design from 1837, used on the original Daguerrotype. These are pine needles shot with shallow DOF.

So, still moving backwards, we’ve come to the first Poltergeist! book.

A young man goes camping in the woods in Minnesota. Ten years later, he still hasn’t come back. Desperate, his father hires Nina Cohen, Poltergeist Detective, to find him. Turns out, she’s not the only poltergeist in town.

Continuing through the Poltergeist! series backwards:

Nina’s got troubles of her own, but when a local high school girl goes missing, the police ask her to go undercover in the school. The reward money better be worth it...

This is the third book in my Poltergeist! series. Nina Cohen, Poltergeist detective, finally goes on vacation. While waiting for her boyfriend—who was established in the previous book—to join her, she gets involved in a local mystery of the Lake Superior Mermaid.
