I mean it's a no-brainer in some ways, yet not everyone does it!

Sometimes I post inane/mundane things here because it's all I've got, but sometimes I just desperately need to contribute boring everyday nonsense to offset the continual everyday horror of having it reinforced to me how the world is not only awful, but more awful than nightmares could ever conjure.

I'm hitting a similar point.

I feel bad because I don't want to be an ostrich, but it's not sustainable for me to keep reaching emotional burnout when I'm barely a few minutes into my day, with the majority of the work week still ahead of me.

I might manage to rustle up a whole centimetre if I scoop up every patch of snowdust from the entire garden and put it all in one place 😛

I hope everyone finds some time this Christmas to spend with those close to them, many of whom I know need it this year more than before. Try your best to find and cling on to the little joys in amongst everything else going on. 🎄
