I’m seeing the far-right over on ‘the other app’ attacking Ricky Tomlinson for supporting the Coats for Calais campaign seven years ago.

“Protect our own”, they say.

Anyway, here’s Tomlinson donating £1m to help a children’s hospital in Liverpool.

I've been a Green Party member for a couple of days now and the communication from the party has been fantastic. Labour could only dream of engaging their members as well as the Greens do.
Listening to @zackpolanski.bsky.social's speech at @greenparty.org.uk Conference made my mind up: I'm joining the Greens. I left Labour nearly two months ago, and now I've found my new political home.

By using AI, the EHRC has utterly destroyed any glimmer of hope that they would take people seriously. Of course, expecting them to read 50,000 responses in a few weeks would be unreasonable, which is why they should have allowed more time. It's been a farce from start to finish. Shameful.
This will probably get lost in the news today, but a FOI request just confirmed that the EHRC produced no documents in the last 5 months on what prompts it would use to review the Code of Practice submissions.

It's friggin' amateur hour there.

It's a great privilege to have been featured in @attitudemag.bsky.social for the September/October edition. I discussed 'Your Party' not being ready to call itself an alternative for LGBTQ+ people and how the Labour Party needs a new leader.

#RupertLowe posted 104 times in a one-week period, and made £36,000 from his posts in nine months. Is he Britain's first influencer MP?

Humberside Police and the Lib Dem-led Hull City Council failed in their duty to keep us safe. There are questions that need answering 👇

I asked this far-right individual about his views on James McMurdock - the former Reform MP who was convicted of assaulting his girlfriend. I think the person recording me had a Freudian Slip.

Nine #Hull activists are facing terrorism charges for holding placards. Peaceful protest is not terrorism - and the government's misuse of these laws should scare us all.

Ten years ago today, my mum died very suddenly from sepsis. A whole decade without her seems very strange. I was 17 when she died and I still remember that day very vividly. Anniversaries are always a bit tough.

After cancelling my Labour membership (and others, except Unite), I'm redirecting the money: £5/month to @goodlawproject.org and £5/month to @pscupdates.bsky.social. The money I gave to Labour now funds solidarity, justice, and inclusion instead of hate, division, and inaction.

I have signed this open letter. The way this situation has been handled is utterly shameful. M&S has thrown their employee under the bus and allowed her to be disgustingly vilified in the most vicious way.
Another open letter.

This time to M&S.

I don’t have any nostalgic desire to protect this brand. Other undies are available.

And back in the 70s my local store had fuzzy, mustard yellow pillars that gave me static shocks every time I went near them.

Anyone else?

I'm done trying to be diplomatic - JK Rowling is a vacuous shell of cruelty. She doesn't need a platform. She needs therapy. Urgently.

This cannot continue. Under this current leadership, we are destroying any chance of winning in 2029, and utterly wrecking the chances of local councillors in May 2026. Something has to change urgently.

I cannot begin to express the fury I have that this appointment has been pushed through despite concerns being raised by the WEC and JCHR. It flies in the face of parliamentary process and is a huge middle finger to the importance of these committees. Utterly shameful.
