After 15 years it finally took the events of the last week to prompt me finally deleting my Twitter account. I’m going to continue posting on Threads and post more on Bluesky.
Everyone over the age of 18 is considered an adult, even if our parents still call us their children. As a grown ass person you’re responsible for everything that you say or do and need to be given consequences accordingly. Skin color shouldn’t matter in the least.
Prime example of white privilege in plain sight.
Black kids get called adults to justify blame, while white adults get called “kids” to excuse their hate. They’re not boys and girls, they’re grown-ass men and women, and the receipts are in writing.

It angers me that people want to celebrate the veterans in a parade as the Republicans in the US government have decided to make cuts to the programs that help veterans so their rich friends can have another unneeded tax cut. Fucking idiots 🤦🏻♀️

With all the AntiTrans rhetoric in the US I wonder how those of us who prefer not to dress according to the expected gender norms will be perceived. I don’t wear dresses and frilly feminine clothing. I’d much rather rock a comfortable pair of pants, shirt and sneakers and have short hair.

The fact that Donald Trump is FOTUS and running the show has me very nervous for the future. I’m not a parent but I worry about what life in a Trumpian society will mean for my nephew. I’m hoping that in 2026 we will actually have midterms and hopefully be able to vote sensible people in office.
