I'll probably be dual booting Linux with this setup for godot development. But for now I'm continuing to learn Adobe just to see what I'm missing out on.

I love godot. Ive been thinking of switching to it as my main game engine.
But what cheap/free alternatives exist for the software i listed? So far i used armor paint, material maker and gimp. I learned them all before trying adobe but adobe feels so much easier to use.

When i run into an issue on Linux, i will struggle to fix it but at the end I will feel like i learned a little bit more about computers, operating systems and programs.
When i struggle with a windows issue, i learn nothing and feel like my time was wasted on bs.

Ofc redundant dialogue options can add style and flavor when used appropriately.
And games like detroit become human hide it very well, so dialogue choices can still feel impactful even when theyre not.
