Another minute of #Zen sitting by the shore of #Bowman Lake Glacier National Park watching the skies fade into darkness

#nature #nationalparks #parkchat what surprises me most is although there were 50 or so people camping nearby I was alone to enjoy this

Sound up!!!

Our neighbour Nooka was watching the wildlife from the glass window, very educational and not to be sneezed at 😸

For anybody who wants a good book rec, read Braiding Sweetgrass

As a botanist and member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, Robin Wall Kimmerer embraces the notion that plants can benefit from human presence - an empathetic Indigenous concept which deconstructs the colonial lens.

HIGHLY recommend reading/listening to this book by an Indigenous author 🫶🏽✨️ it's also quite short but powerful

They are the most simple of plants, and in their simplicity, elegant. With just a few rudimentary components of stem and leaf, evolution has produced some 22,000 species of moss worldwide. 💚

I love this book.
I will recommend it to everyone for the rest of my life. The author’s words resonate in my soul and I feel understood and inspired.
The book is 112 pages and the size of the book is fairly small. The print inside this particular copy is maybe 14-16 font? A short, wholesome read.
