Over the 10 days of the Calgary Stampede rodeo, you may see 2 or 3 Black athletes. It's interesting & funny. The history of ranching in North America is rooted in the people of Africa & the Caribbean. There are Black rodeos in the USA. That's not a narrative that's discussed in Calgary, ever. 1/
