I can relate here. I once gave a thumbs up and two men outside thought it was a middle finger and they tried to open the door of my cab to get me.

I locked the door. And it may have scared me but it didn’t cost me $250k at least.

Jerry Jones said his accidental gesture was part of an exchange with Dallas Cowboys fans, not New York Jets fans, sitting in front of him.

There wouldn’t be any conflicts with the men’s WC. The IIHF by laws prevented that. April tournaments have to be spaced apart. It’s mainly for the PWHL.

In addition, a new European Women’s Championship will start in April 2027.

The PWHL announces that the move to the November Women's World Championship is a permanent one, not one just for 2026/Olympic years.

Imagine making a trade where you trade Zack MacEwen and you still lose the trade...
hockeyviz.com
MacEwan for MacDermid is one of those trades that makes you ask: why
jaredbook.bsky.social
Could be, for the same reasons that I mentioned for Hamilton.
jaredbook.bsky.social
I'm not basing this on any intimate knowledge and do not have a source here, but January 17 looks like the reported Hamilton PWHL Takeover Tour game.

It's a Toronto home game that is listed TBD. It is against Vancouver, who has Hamilton native Sarah Nurse.

Seems likely, no?
jaredbook.bsky.social
Not a typo. Jan 2 is typically an off day in the US and schools are still closed. Most Canadian banks have the day off as well. It’s an extension of that weird two weeks around Christmas and NYD.
jaredbook.bsky.social
Also for the record: On Jan 12, one day after a TBD game against PWHL Vancouver, the Canucks play the Canadiens at the Bell Centre...
jaredbook.bsky.social
For the record: The Bell Centre is free on all three of the TBD home games on Montreal's schedule: Dec 27 vs TOR, Jan 11 vs VAN, Mar 28 vs NY.

One of those games will surely be there.

I mean last year they had a literal Canadian destroyer so

I mean cool, Varsho, but now the bases are empty…

Hey if it makes you feel better, the last time a Leafs minor league team with Bobby McMann figured out the Habs starter in a meaningless game at the Bell Centre, it worked out for the Habs 😅😏
jaredbook.bsky.social
(Which is fine! I thought it was weird they were making this a competition… He was clearly destined to Laval)

No offence to Kaapo Kähkönen but I think Jakub Dobeš job is safe.

Habs’ Geoff Molson and France-Margaret Belanger have joined the ownership group of the WNBA’s Toronto Tempo and the team will play two regular season games at the Bell Centre.

Lmao...What a preseason shootout goal for Sean Farrell

Goalie thinks he's made the save and nope!
jaredbook.bsky.social
These lost points will really cost the Habs come April.

Jacob Fowler leads the Canadiens onto the ice for their game against Toronto, he will likely get the first half of the game again.

Arseni Radkov backing up today.

Ivan Demidov does not appear to be playing in this one.
jaredbook.bsky.social
If a Canadiens player not named Ivan Demidov scores the winner in this game, they are going to have a Bell Centre crowd memory that is going to be almost impossible to top.
jaredbook.bsky.social
If Ivan Demidov is showing he's a class above in this game, so is the crowd.

Bell Centre rarely disappoints, but this is next level.
