There is so much wrong in this article about health care reform. But I will start with reducing patient autonomy and consolidating care into fewer corporations is the wrong way to 1) improve health outcomes, and 2) reduce costs.

Before DPC, I used to avoid the vendors. But it just hit me why I don’t anymore—I mainly go to DPC conferences now. Big pharma doesn’t go there. Now, I make it a point to visit every vendor. They might have solved a problem I didn’t know I had. And I always find some cool things.

The point of a prior auth is to aggravate. Phone call: enter PA ID#. Then phone tree confirms the Rx 4 times. Rep picked up the phone to have me use the PA# again. Confirm the name/address and medication. He then scolds me for saying tirzepatide and not Mounjaro. Says call Cigna and hangs up.
