...make clear that he has no intention of moderating or abandoning his project of dismantling BiH or the Dayton Agreement. In short, once more, Dodik offered an IOU for material concessions from the US, and then reneged on the deal at the first opportunity.

It remains to be seen whether, in time, democratic publics, first and foremost, can force their representatives to again inhabit the material world. Or whether this or that miscalculation by one ideologue or another will lead us all into annihilation.
