Sunday Loops & Riffs #1. We were just working on configuring the Boomerang III looper when this just cropped up. Well, I did stop to turn on the camera. I like to document these things because some of it might make a good bit for a song someday. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wcV...

Tom Stoppard (Tomáš Sträussler) and Joseph Conrad (Konrad Korzeniowski) were masters of English writing and observing English culture. Both second language speakers of English. RIP Tom Stoppard.

RFK Jr may be the most dangerous part of the MAGA agenda.
His attack on medical science will be counted in lives.
And Canada is not immune.
From measles to cervical cancer the danger signs are clear.

Getting better at wiring. Metal covered wires are from the pickups, grounded to the potentiometers. Surplus wire from the caps grounding all the pots. Orange caps looking jaunty (cap/pot combo is the tone control). Signal wires in red. Ground in black. Black paint grounded. Pleased with it.

I don't want to judge, but I can't help it. Using Spotify to choose music is like one more abdication autonomy; of responsibility for yourself. But then again, I've never used any streaming service beyond putting my own music on sound cloud. I can't imagine letting machines do choose for me.
If you’re hosting a holiday event, please carefully curate your playlist, rather than just leaving it to Spotify. Otherwise, you and your guests will learn that Spotify believes there are only four Christmas songs, each with 2-4 cover versions, which can easily be repeated for more than 6 hours.

Agreed. I've always preferred the science to the political org. I'll stick to the science and ignore the CDC on this. We should never listen to ANY American institution. They've all always been way more political than ours.
All public health officials and infectious disease experts who advocated for “you do you” and “be kind” and refused to listen to experts in adjacent fields like physics, engineering and industrial hygiene:

This is on you.

You fed the anti-science monster. Now it has taken over.
Disinformation escalation by RFK:

The CDC has now "repudiated its past insistence that vaccines do not cause autism after decades of fighting misinformation linking the two, blindsiding career staff and delighting anti-vaccine activists."

What to know:
