Analysis of 14 million PubMed abstracts shows huge changes in language after the widespread availability of LLMs.

"Our analysis based on excess words usage suggests that at least 10% of 2024 abstracts were processed with LLMs."

Question: when reporting financial disclosures for a manuscript in psych or neuro journals, do you include all forms of salary support? Specifically, do you include NIH/NSF support?

This absolutely beautiful blog post describes the author receiving an “alien in a can” at age 8 and was told to never open it lest the alien dies.
He compares his experimentations to efforts in psych science to draw inferences about psych states.

Groundhog for R is so good for reproducibility.

You just load your packages with it and voila, anyone who runs your script will have the same package versions.

One less hurdle to reproducible code.

Props to the team at Wharton Credibility Lab!

What’s the best explanation of scalar invariance you’ve come across? I am struggling to explain it to non-measurement folks.
