It is difficult to appreciate just how badly JD Vance’s comments are going down with military leaders, families of fallen soldiers & citizens across Europe.

This is the UK’s most popular independent radio station, LBC.

“Wow. A Vice-President who is as dumb as he is aggressive.”

Nice that the UK and France are now considered to be “some random country” by their greatest/oldest ally.
JD Vance dismissed the UK as "some random country that hasn't fought a war in 30 years" while insisting the only way to secure lasting peace in Ukraine is to grant the US an "economic upside in the future" of the region.

Have written about JD Vance’s Munich speech. In what may prove to be the biggest week for European security since 1991, it’s time Europe listened to what Trump and his Vice President are telling us. open.substack.com/pub/goodalla...
We need to listen to what Trump and Vance are telling us.
This may have been the biggest moment for European security since 1991.

‘International law? Screw it.’

‘International institutions? Screw it.’

‘Multilateral agreements? Screw it.’

@lewisgoodall.com thinks Donald Trump is the first post-war president to misunderstand what US power is for and warns, ‘we can’t trust this guy.’

TRUMP TRADE WAR UPDATE:

Colombia: Lasted 4 hours - Trump accepts what was already offered.

Mexico: Lasted one weekend - Trump accepts worse than before.

Pin this, save it, we’ll need it.

“When a prison camp opens in your town…when a DREAMer is disappeared from your classroom…when the President destroys what’s left of the Constitution…They will all say they didn’t know this was coming. And I want the American people to know that they did.”

When terrible things happen it can be easy to believe the world is terrible; it's important to remember that there is far more good than evil.

While there are a small number of people who commit horrific acts, there are literally millions of people who will save people from them.

Why is our taxpayer's money going to the Royals in so many ways?

Empty Dartmoor prison pays Prince William’s Duchy £1.5m a year & has another 24 years left on its lease

Charities which the Royals are patrons of also pay millions to them in rent

Make it make sense

Remember all these headlines describing a brief rise in government borrowing costs as being "market mayhem", followed by a week of demands for Rachel Reeves to quit?

Well one week later and it turns out UK gilts are now outperforming every other G7 country this year, aside from the US

A truth...

The fight shouldn’t be between left & right

It should be between the uber-wealthy who are sucking up the wealth vs the rest of us

That’s the real fight

And it scares oligarchs so much, they spend their money & time (e.g Musk) ensuring we fight eachother instead
