Nice, I've logged a good few hours into Hades 2 myself, definitely one that's making it onto the GOTY list for me.

(don't get me wrong here, the franchise has issues and the development pipeline needs to be overhauled for sure - but spamming non-creative hate in every comment section, sub Reddit or live stream is an exhausting life to live and sucks for folk who just wanna talk about the games in general.)

And, honestly, I think I'm enjoying it all the more thanks to the fact that I've managed to largely ignore the overbearing wave of negativity out there prior to the game coming out.

Life is just much more fun when you drown out the venomous voices online and just do what you love.

Does that still work? I did have it set up for emulation a few years back but I think they blocked something that was required for it - I'll have to look back into this!

I much, much, much rather physical, naturally, but I'm okay enough with digital so long as the stores are kept up to redownload etc.

The subscription model though, I'll be glad to see struggle and die off rather than become a default across the industry.
