I get that they aren't really the same in most any functional way other than you investigating a mystery in a manor, but The Séance of Blake Manor has very likely taken Blue Prince's spot on my end of year list - here's hoping it sticks the landing.

Pokémon Legends Z-A has been so much fun over the last few days, I never clicked with Legends Arceus because it felt so removed from the battling aspect of Pokémon, but Z-A's gameplay loop of battling and catching is really doing it for me.

The Xbox Series S that I bought purely for Game Pass is now a glorified paper weight.
If anything should scare you away from the Netflixisation of game services it should be that eventually you'll quit due to increasing prices or dwindling quality of the service, leaving you with a gameless brick.

I'm really enjoying Borderlands 4 so far, but there are a few bizarre omissions here or there that I can't wrap my head around. Like why wouldn't your total money be on screen when you are asked if you want to purchase a respec? Why can't you flip between missions in game?

I'm pretty terminally online for better or worse but I've actually been pretty absent from online spaces and gaming in general for a week or two due to some pretty hectic life stuff - so, what's good folks, did I miss much? What's everyone playing and looking forward to?

I love watching game showcase events, but I'm not gonna lie, Geoff's ones are becoming absolute slogs to get through. I get that it's what pays the bills, but the interesting stuff can't breath thanks to all of generic multiplayer games from China crushing them. It's exhausting to watch. #GamesCom
