I don’t know that I’ve ever trusted any government when it comes to war or international conflict

But when I listen to the news in the morning, I viscerally know what distrust feels like now that we are transparently in our agitator and war monger phase

A reminder that more people didn’t vote in the US than those who voted for Trump.

There was not mandate for MAGA. There was no desire for a ballroom. There was a naive doubt I government in general and T is only making it worse.

#EmployeeOwnership !

Samsung recently announced it would award stock and bonuses to all workers—the first time it’s awarded stock to all staff, not just executives. Estimates by Fortune show this could amount to $20,000 for each of its 260,000 employees

So true - I know so many people who don’t shop anymore. But in the US, this may be another emerging example of the class divide

“Finding time to socialise is easier if you can pay for things that save time, from washing machines to grocery deliveries”

“higher income predicts less loneliness”
The most rigorous studies of loneliness have largely been in Europe and America. But the loneliest place of all is Madagascar. Our correspondent went there to find out why econ.st/4anRohC

Seems to me that the algorithm = coercion. If so, This makes a critical point of discernment of what “free” online speech is.

With all the drama related to Epstein….

Isn’t it enough that Trump is a massively gross man? And, lies and deceives to forward his interests?

It doesn’t need to be some elite cabal or grand conspiracy- Trump is simply and plainly a bad person and a deceitful and manipulative leader

Sure … reduction in cost for Thanksgiving- Reduction and change in items

“For a consumer trying to buy the exact same list of individual ingredients from 2024, the overall cost would likely have been slightly higher in 2025 due to general inflation and price increases for most side dishes”

These ties have drawn scrutiny from critics who claim the investment could amount to a conflict of interest.

I’ve never seen the definition of “crime” change so fast

If your a person in the US on a temporary status trying to follow complex procedures in an extremely backlogged court system, your a criminal

If your an oligarch- there are no laws and hence no crimes
