He’s a lot of Jones, with some Rolen and Helton thrown in. Ample precedents in the career paths of recent BBWAA-elected HOFers who who excelled defensively but faded offensively somewhere in early to mid-30s.

definitely some similarities in trajectory — esp. as Arenado heads to Arizona, but he's already gotten a lot more recognition thanks to the Gold Gloves, home run titles (and other black ink), and MVP voting. All of that stuff still helps, even given the impact of Coors Field (see Walker, Helton)
