I've been watching old TV to escape the news, and cripes, James Best was in everything in the 1960s. He's in at least three episodes of "Twilight Zone," two "Perry Mason" and "The Andy Griffith Show."
He had a big B-list career before "The Dukes of Hazzard":

I wrote to the mayor of Edina and to his credit, he wrote back! He defended his police and says that the clergy who were arrested "praised" his officers for their "professionalism."
Also, he says this isn't pee on my back, it's rain.
