I'm so frustrated that it looks like the Dems got nothing. We held out to apply pressure and caved. The MAGA leaders were never going to open up the government unless they got their way, though. We chose the high road, but the GOP doesn't care. They will claim victory and say the Dems are weak.

As someone who used to live in Texas this is about right. It makes no sense but people vote party line no matter who it is. This was why Beto couldn't win. I still have hope that Talarico will make more ground given his strong faith, but he's still a "Lib" in the eyes of the old folks.

Imagine if this propaganda content was prominent leading up to the election. He had a hard sell of that he would only focus on the bad ones. Showing how it is really happening would have a different emotional impact.

Wow. He's really not looking good. We have three or more years of this ahead, and I can only imagine how much worse it will get. He's currently on a downward trend, which is normal for a guy his age. His mental ability is really showing, and his diet doesn't help.
